When the sea is calm; it’s to say during March, April, May, August, September, October and the beginning of November; we invite you to discover the island and nature reserve of Escudo de Veraguas. At about 1h45 by boat from Bocas (Our boat has cushions for more comfort during the crossing), you will discover an island that is inhabited only a few short months of the year by fishermen.

We will go all around the island during the day to visit the internal canals of the island, search for the endemic pigmeo sloth, enjoy the beautiful beaches including the famous Iglesia beach which is in between rocks, snorkel in the crystal-clear waters (equipment provided).

We offer, also included in the tour, a meal that has been prepared by the inhabitants of the island, according to the catch of the day and to the period, fresh fish or fresh lobster braised and served with coconut rice.

We will leave at 3.30pm to arrive at 5.30 in Bocas.
